A Ladotiri recipe

A simple recipe with Ladotiri

Saganaki  eggplants with Ladotiri

ladotiriFor 4 people

2 eggplants chopped in thin slices  

100 ml olive oil

3 molten cloves of garlic 

4  400 gr grated mature tomatoes

 2 tablespoons of tomatopaste diluted in to a bowl with water

3 tablespoons of cut-up thyme

 1 spoon of chopped fresh rosemary
 salt and pepper 

250 gr of Ladotiri a cutted in small pieces

salt and peper 

Oil and drop salt and peper on to eggplants’ slices and grill them of both sides for about 1-2 minutes.After tht put the grilled eggplants in to a big plate.

In a pot

  • heat the olive oil
  • drop the garlic

Brown until this mix become goldy.

Add the tomatoes and the tomatopaste and drop in this mix salt and peper.Cook for about 35-40 minutes in low temperature and when the sauce become is tied, frost with thyme and rosemary.The next step is το preheat your oven at 180 degrees.

In to a microwaveable fry pan drop the half quantity of the tomato sauce and put on the the grilled eggplants’s slices.Add a little more sauce and frost with the ladotiri cheece.Afterall grill for about 8-10 minutes ultil the cheece is melted.You are ready to serve your plate with fresh granted peper.
